Pinewood targets affordable housing

With its acquisition of architectural and construction consultancy Avebury Projects, Pinewood Structures is targeting the affordable housing sector Timber frame supplier Pinewood Structures is looking to expand into the affordable housing sector with the acquisition of Avebury Projects. Milton Keynes-based Avebury Projects has been operating countrywide as a construction consultancy with a focus on affordable and sustainable housing since 1986. "Project management and architecture are perfect fits for Pinewood Structures and with Avebury’s background in low carbon housing we are sure that the affordable housing sector and registered social landlords (RSLs) will be attracted to a company which can provide a seamless solution, from design right the way through to construction with the guarantee that their homes are the most sustainable available.” "Private house builders increasingly need the knowledge and support Avebury Projects can offer in the sustainability field to meet the new standards, plus we can guide and advise on the interface with RSLs.
