Haldane UK and Bisca have combined forces to deliver an eye-catching spiral staircase in an exclusive London apartment.
The staircase features structural glass balustrading and glass treads finished with elliptical American Black Walnut handrails.
Haldane worked with Bisca to deliver the continuous handrails which flowed seamlessly from spiral through Haldane UK 's trademark timber transition components to the atrium area which featured horizontal straight rails.
To deliver the absolute precision demanded by this high specification project, Haldane called upon its extensive expertise in 5 axis CNC timber machining.
Managing director, Forrester Adam, said Bisca's ability to combine natural materials such as timber, metalwork and glass with such dramatic effects was very rare. "We enjoy a superb relationship with Bisca which continues to challenge our manufacturing capabilities with superb contemporary staircases," he said.
