Timber growth fuels Carronvale’s need for Norbord
Published: 21 February, 2008
Scottish timber frame manufacturer Carronvale is upping its requirement for Norbord Sterling OSB to keep pace with growing demand for timber frame systems in Scotland One of Scotland’s leading timber frame manufacturers is predicting its output of timber frame systems to increase as the use of timber in multi-storey, multi-occupancy buildings grows. Carronvale Timber Frame, which supplies many major housebuilders and developers as well as its own residential development division, is set to increase its consumption of timber board products from Norbord at its Grangemouth factory to keep pace with demand. The company switched to Norbord products in 2006 and now takes delivery of more than 30,000 sheets annually of Norbord’s Sterling OSB board for use in developments.
